I have lived in Seattle since '87 and the only place on this list that I have been to is Burgermaster. Mind you, I lived across the street from one for a decade before even trying it and yes, no comparison to Dick's. Dick's used to be my go-to place for a quick cheap burger before going out drinking but their prices have gone up while quality has gone down so now, I just head over to Mama's pizza and get something far better and cheaper. You should have gone with the Double bacon Master with onion rings not the kid's meal:)) But I would never tell a tourist to go here because you can get a burger and fries back home.
If you want to have a great Seattle vacation, get as far away from the Pike Place Market as you can. Walk in to any coffee shop that doesn't say Starbucks, pop into any place that says pho, teriyaki, or has nothing but Mandarin characters on the posters hanging in the windows, find an Ethiopian restaurant and get some coffee after dinner, grab a vegetarian meal at any Indian restaurant, take a ferry to Bainbridge Island and pop into any nice place you see for a lovely lunch, and see why we actually live here in Seattle. It's not to watch two guys throw a salmon at each other or stand in line for 2 hours to get Starbucks. No one ever calls me up and says, "Let's go to Ivars for a bowl of Progresso clam chowder at tourist prices!"
The only reason to go downtown is to contest a parking ticket in court, switch buses, take a ferry across the Sound, or to go to work.

I'm in my 40s and grew up in the area. I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Nobody actually eats the "Seattle Dog" here. Someone who promotes Seattle tourism decided that our city needed something like the Philly Cheesesteak. That person picked an obscure hotdog that was sold by one street vendor. It has never been popular with the locals. The Seattle Dog is a tourist gimmick.

Nice video, good places to try 👍 I would say go visit southcenter Mall area in Tukwila more south Seattle area. They have lots of good restaurants, Chinese food, Thai food, Filipino food, Japanese food lots of desserts.

Yeah I've had places that serve soft that try to be slick and leave a pocket of air in the center to create the illusion of a generous serving. Lamd.
Memo folks, don't buy the soft serve from that place.
Dick's is a Seattle thing. And it's signature Deluxe burger is kinda unique in it's own way compared to other burgers. They need to change it back.
Dick's changed their sauce recipe about two years or so ago. And it is not good as it used to be.
