I am a 70 year resident of the D.C. area, and this is an excellent video. I only would suggest you also mention briefly the Museum of the Bible. It's located near the Air and Space museum.

The cafeteria in History Museum is very good selection of food.
Visit National Museum of Marine Corps on Quantico, about 30 miles down Interstate.
We’re not great walkers, moving by uber would be a good idea for the longer walks?
